When you launch MyHome for the first time, you'll be prompted to enter your name, home name, and address. Fill in these details and tap Get Started to begin.
Yes. Go to Settings → All Homes and tap Add Home. Switch between homes using the home picker pill at the top of the Home screen or from the Settings tab.
Tap the + button on the Projects tab, or tap Add Project from the Home screen. Choose a category, set a status, and optionally add a start date and budget.
Yet to Start — planned but not begun. In Progress — actively underway. Completed — finished. On Hold — paused. Abandoned — cancelled.
Yes. Open a project, scroll to the Photos section, and tap the camera icon to add photos from your library or take a new one.
Go to Settings → Current Home and tap Share Home. This uses iCloud Family Sharing — the invited person needs an Apple ID and iCloud enabled. Once they accept, they can view and edit the same home data in real time.
All homes, projects, contractors, quotes, materials, permits, and rooms sync automatically via iCloud. Your profile name and photo are stored locally on your device only.
No. MyHome does not track you or share your data with third parties. All data is stored privately in your iCloud account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Delete individual items (projects, quotes, etc.) from within the app. To remove everything, delete the app from your device and clear its data from iCloud.com → Manage Storage → MyHome.
Make sure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID and have iCloud Drive enabled in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud. Allow a few minutes for changes to propagate.
Deleted items cannot be recovered from within the app. If you have a recent iCloud backup, you may be able to restore your device to recover the data.
